John has been around Powerboat Racing for about 30 years, started bybeing a Spectator,then involved as crew for different Teams.

Then 25 years ago he was given the chance to buy a F4 Boat and started racing .

First at Club level and managed to win the club championship in my second season,then the National Championships where I finished 2nd and 3rd over a number of seasons.
Next he moved on to the International circuit traveling all over Europe also competing in the 24 Hours of Rouen in France 5 years running – the hardest and most dangerous Endurance RacePowerboat Racing in the World, best result in 2008 3rd with 54 boats
starting the race.

He then moved up to F2 class and won the club championship
in his first season ,and 2nd in the Supercat Championship and size engine over 2 litre.
